- l'attuale produzione venezuelana che va in crisi per motivi futili (vedi scarsa produzione di carne e altri beni di prima necessita); ovviamente Chávez e il governo sapeva benissimo che la scarsità di carne (poi uova e pollo; la gente non trova carne quindi si riversa sul polo che ovviamente sparisce presto) non era dovuto al sabotaggio, all'accaparramento, che ci sarà pure stato, ma non era influente a determinare la crisi che abbiamo vissuto; il problema era la mancanza di produzione sufficiente. L'apparato produttivo venezuelano èdel tutto insufficiente; questo èil punto debole della rivoluzione venezuelana.
Allora se l'attuale produzione non è sufficiente, cosa sarebbe successo se avesse decretato l'abolizione della proprietà privata? Non una guerra civile perché i proprietari sarebbero stati espropriati delle proprietà ma un aggravarsi della crisi di produzione. Il grande merito del sistema capitalistico è stato quello di aver incrementato i mezzi di produzione; la rivoluzione russa fallisce perchè è in un paese dove il capitalismo non era ancora sviluppato; cosi sarebbe fallita la rivoluzioen venezuelana. Io sono di quei marxisti che asseriscono che il capitalismo non è ancora del tutto sviluppato; nel mondo ci sono ampie zone di sviluppo (dallo stesso Latinoamerica all'Africa all'Asia);
Oggi, 2007, non credo sia possibile una rivoluzione comunista; però una rivoluzione comunista sarà possibile e necessaria fra uno, massimo due o tre lustri. Capitalismo maturo o no, sara necessaria. Non si tratta di essere pessimisti, ma realisti.
