Blair With Project ha un grande pregio e un grande difetto: gli va riconosciuto il merito di aver fatto conoscere al grande pubblico un nuovo modo di filmare estremamente innovativo, ossia quello in prima persona (Even if only from the commercial point of view: the idea is to be found in the much less known Cannibal Holocaust and The cameraman and the murderess ). And on the other hand, it should also be accorded the same respect in the negative, that have generated a succession of clones that now seem to have started a real fashion in film. An episode of X-Files , REC , August Underground's , Diary of the Dead, yet the comedy Borat .... and these are added here this Cloverfield, a film of the cases due to a mysterious advertising campaign in order to specify the film as a catastrophic / beast movie, refusing until the end of betraying any image on the monster in question. And, come to the cinema, Cloverfield seems to have brought a frightening number of critics and viewers to a collective delusion, since it is listed as one of the best horror / disasters of recent years, under the idea of \u200b\u200bpassing off all the shots deliberately amateur mold as visual evidence of some kids who were spectators of the attack of the giant creature in New York. The idea in itself is not bad either, and the spontaneity of the whole movie dialogues and interpretations (all unknown actors, to maintain a reliable and realistic profile) and above all, the gimmick did not explain anything about the origins of the monster and its fate (leaving in doubt until the end) suggest Cloverfield is a breath of fresh air in film catastrophic. But there is one, but that ruins the whole movie: is it possible that the guy who takes it does constantly, even in situations of extreme danger, even when it helps people?! There is no excuse to take: This is found insane, and takes away the dramatic scenes series (tralaltro carried out in a sublime) in favor of the ridiculous involuntary svaccando all good ideas and turning Cloverfield almost unbelievable in a trash.
